Engaging NROTC units in a fun and challenging competition of military excellence, fostering new relationships and community among schools.
The 2026 Buckeye Invitational will be held on 28 March 2026 at Converse Hall on Ohio State's Columbus campus.

Competition
Midshipmen/MECEPs/OCs will compete in 11 different competitions:
- Platoon Close Order Drill
- Squad Close Order Drill
- Navy and Marine Corps Color Guard
- Endurance Race
- Shooting (Rifle & Pistol)
- Ship Handling
- Powerlifting
- Tug-of-War
- Jeopardy-Style Knowledge Exam
- Dodgeball Tournament
- Active Duty Staff Cornhole
Schools are not required to participate in all events and may pay a single event rate of $100 per event for up to six events. If participating in more than six events, schools will be required to pay the full amount of $600 regardless of personnel.
Note: Multiple events will occur simultaneously. Ensure that competitors are able to make the posted times of events. Buckeye Invitational personnel will de-conflict scheduling as much as possible.

Billeting
Optional on-site lodging will be offered for all participants and unit staff.
