Captain Holly Hall is a native of Pueblo, Colorado. She enlisted in the Marine Corps in July 2007 and attended recruit training at 4th Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. Upon graduating as the Honor Graduate of the Company, she received a meritorious promotion to Private First Class.
In January 2008, Private First-Class Hall completed Marine Combat Training at the School of Infantry East, Camp Geiger, NC. She was ordered to Marine Air Support Squadron 3, Camp Pendleton, CA, where she served as a Supply Administration Clerk and deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In January 2010, Corporal Hall received orders to 1st Supply Battalion, Camp Pendleton, CA, where she was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and served as the Training Chief, Operations NCOIC, and the Supply Chief of Medical Logistics Company.
In July 2012, Sergeant Hall was ordered to 2nd Battalion, 25th Marines in Garden City, New York where she served as the Supply Administration Chief and Logistics Platoon Sergeant. In spring of 2015, she was screened to be an instructor at Ground Supply School and in July 2015 she reported to Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Camp Johnson, NC where she served as a Formal School Instructor, Master Instructor, Academics Chief, and Registrar of Ground Supply School. During her time at Ground Supply School, Staff Sergeant Hall was selected for the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP).
Upon completion of Officer Candidates School in August of 2018, Staff Sergeant Hall reported to the University of New Mexico as a MECEP participant and was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in January 2019. She graduated summa cum laude, achieving a 4.0 GPA, with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a focus in Military Studies. She commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps in October 2021.
In May 2022, Second Lieutenant Hall reported to The Basic School in Quantico, Virginia. She graduated within the top ten percent of her class and earned the Military Occupational Specialty of 3002 Ground Supply Officer. In December 2022, Second Lieutenant Hall reported to the 1st Battalion, 10th Marines where she served as the Supply Officer. In May 2025, she was assigned as the Marine Officer Instructor of The Ohio State University Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps.
Captain Hall’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (x3), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (x2), Good Conduct Medal (x4), and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. She has three children; Landon, Josiah and Peyton.
